ALISON K MILLER

Oxford Community Television
Intern
I have worked for Oxford Community Television in Oxford MI since July 10th, 2023. Currently, I am the news correspondent for our program "Oxford News This Week," and I have produced numerous journalistic projects during my time at the station.
Written Work
"ONTW"
As a news correspondent, I identify over fifteen news accounts from diverse sources weekly, primarily through digital research and communication, to author and edit a twelve-minute broadcast script with locally relevant reporting. Below are several samples of stories I have personally investigated as well as adapted from various source material to write in broadcast style for the program. I take deliberate care to not only rewrite any unoriginal material but to include clear credit of the sources for external interviews and breaking news stories within the text of the ONTW script. I add a restatement every article, video, and photographic source into the script for the conclusion of the program.
Studio Reporting
ONTW
These are episodes of Oxford News This Week, the program all of my scripts go towards. Through this, I have the opportunity to broadcast my own writing.
